December 2018 – Rumour Mill Cabaret
Produced and directed by Claira Vaughan, the talented Rumour Mill cast bring to Our/London a show like no other. With dancing, singing, mime, cabaret and burlesque, this show will leave you wanting more. Now a regular fixture on our events calendar, keep an eye out for more shows in 2019.
Our Local Hero, December 2018 – Clair Battagl
Rainbow Grow is a Hackney-based, LGBTQI+ led community gardening initiative. We are open to all those who support our aim of providing a friendly space for members of the LGBTQI+ community to grow and learn to grow edible plants in an urban environment. As part of Our Local Hero initiative, we supported Rainbow Grow with a fundraiser in December, awarding Clair her very own personalised bottle.
Autumn 2018 – ‘The Drawing Club’
The Drawing Club, has been curating some of London’s most fabulous and feminist drink and draw events. From Mother Nature, to The Unwrap Yourself Christmas collab with FGRLS Club, each night takes on a theme. @thedrawingclublondon
October 2018 - ‘Black Femme Film’
Under The New Black Collective, Black Femme Film in partnership with 20th Century Fox presented an evening of discussion and entertainment relating to the new Hollywood movie The Hate U Give. The theme of the evening was Finding Your Voice; discussions hosted by Lola Michelle with prominent influencers, explored how this theme is portrayed in the film and how they relate to it personally. The panel discussion was partnered with spoken word performers, singers and music by their DJ. @blackfemmefilm
October 2018– ‘Found’
Following a successful summer of supper clubs at our Distillery, Unique Space Outlet & Our/London linked up to present ‘Found”. Bringing together an evening of painted flavours and sculpted senses. The night celebrated our natural infusion kits, presented through a sensory experience and exhibit in Hackney Wick.
Summer 2018 – ‘Dinner at Ours’
Over summer, we invited some of their favourite chefs to our venue in Hackney Downs for ‘Dinner at Ours’. From June to September some of London’s finest culinary minds set up in Our East London distillery, hosting a series of evenings that emulate their own, personal interpretations of a relaxed dinner party. For each supper our guests enjoyed 4 courses of food, served with a unique cocktail to compliment each dish. Lee Westwood, Olia Hercules, Ikoyi and Alex Jackson each brought their individual flair to the supper
