This event will be split between indoors and outdoors. John Rensten (The Edible City) will run a foraging walk first, showcasing how the plants around us can be used in our food (& drinks). Then back at the distillery we will enjoy a presentation / discussion around the seasons and using what’s available to make a great drink or add to food for pairing with a great drink, the overall context being sustainability. Our mixologist will get involved and help John showcase a couple of cocktails using these ingredients, serving infused cocktailsto the attendees during the event.
Includes a distillery tour, a welcome drink, (alcoholic), Forage walk with John Rensten, followed by an open discussion forum back at the distillery where we will showcase & serve 2 cocktails based around urban plants. Each person will also get an Our/Vodka Infusion pack and a copy of ‘The Edible City’. We will end with some light snacks & will open the bar for those who want to hang around a bit longer.
Start time 5.30pm ending @ 9.00pm, bar will close at 10pm.
